The Essence of Rehabilitation

Treatment and recuperation in intimate hotel surroundings

Situated on a sun terrace in the Swiss Alps, the Rehabilitation Clinic Seewis has a comprehensive medical offering to help you return to normal life as soon as possible. Our core area of expertise is cardiac, psychosomatic and internal medicine/oncology rehabilitation as well as prevention.

At our state-of-the-art clinic with a hotel ambience and comprehensive guest service, our professional, interdisciplinary rehabilitation team works together to provide treatment that is tailored to the needs and requirements of each and every guest.

In these intimate surroundings, we will guide and support you in your return to an independent life.

Medical Services

We offer a range of modular treatments that can be freely combined and tailored to your individual situation. Our aim is to equip you with the practical skills and knowledge you need to make a sustained lifestyle change and face the future with confidence.

Heart conditions are often complex. Heart disease reduces physical fitness and frequently also leads to concomitant disorders. A well-designed inpatient rehabilitation programme significantly improves prognoses for patients in their recovery following surgery or intervention. As part of the rehabilitation, we address the root causes of the disease and support each of our patients with their return to normal life through an individual treatment plan. This is one of our particular areas of expertise.

Our cardiology service

Cardiovascular rehabilitation is our main emphasis and specialisation. We also place a focus on disorders and risks that often accompany a heart condition.

Cardiovascular rehabilitation

  • Heart valve disease
  • Cardiomyopathy
  • Arrhythmias
  • Treatment of risk factors
  • Coronary heart disease
    • Heart attack with/without stents
    • Bypass operations

If mind and body are out of balance, this can trigger a range of clinical symptoms. In the knowledge that emotional disorders impact our physical health and that physical illness has a psychological effect, we help you find a holistic and individual approach to recovery.

Treatment is led by an interdisciplinary team. Family members can also be involved in your inpatient therapy, should this be desired. We also work closely with outpatient practitioners and other healthcare professionals to facilitate your long-term recovery.

Our psychosomatic service:

  • Depression, anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder
  • Difficulty coping with stressful life events (job loss, separation, traumatic experiences for example)
  • Persistent pain without adequate physical explanation
  • Disorders of consciousness, memory, voluntary muscles or sensory functions without physical cause
  • Eating disorders
  • Mental disorders as a result of serious physical illnesses
